The track lights aren’t new, but they’ve been reworked considerably, and the effect is much better. The track and lights along the front of the cubes are new, and work well too- they’re low enough to not be in my eyes.

These (and the pole lamp across the room) are controlled by four Lutron Caseta dimmers – for the reading lights, the room lights, the pole lamp (also room lighting), and the desk’s lights on the right. These are also wirelessly controlled by my Hubitat system, and by a couple Pico remotes (the little white rectangle in the middle of the picture on the left.)

Beyond just the lighting, the biggest improvement was replacing the 4×4 cube array with a 2×4 (across the top), and a 2×2 (with the middle partitions removed- at the lower left.) This left the 2×2 area on the right open for the 3D printer.

The other big improvement was reworking the monitor arm and computer systems. As you’ll see in the pics below, my two monitors (the 32″ curved 2560×1440 and the 24″ 1920×1080) can now be positioned for use on the desk, or from my chair, or one of each, so I can use the Megabox from either place. There’s also a small PC on the shelf behind the monitor, which can be used with the 24″ display from here, and from my “co-pilot” chair, with a separate (mirrored) display, and keyboard+mouse.
